Residents are assessed by one of the management team prior to a respite admission and a specific unit is allocated. On admission Residents will have their care needs re assessed by the care team who are supporting them on a daily basis. Where risks are assessed that were not present prior to admission the management team will try to reduce the risk and place the Resident in a safe environment for the remainder of their stay.<br><br>There is a full activities programme in each unit and Residents are encouraged to take part including outings. <br><br>When there is an outbreak of infection, precautions are taken to prevent the spread of infection and fortunately, the infection was contained.
