We always try to fill shifts with our own staff however we do occasionally have to use agency staff for last minute shift cover. When we do have to use agency staff we only use reputable agencies that are registered with the care inspectorate.  If any resident reports an issue with a member of agency staff we would then immediately report this to the agency to follow their own protocols on dealing with staff issues and ask that the member of staff does not return to Murrayfield House. We are currently recruiting staff to try to ensure we have adequate cover for staff absence due to annual leave and sickness.
