Thank you for your comments on Rose Lodge. We would like to address your concerns regarding the Activities Coordinator vacancy. There were 7 months, from the end of June 2015 until February 2016, without a full time Activities Coordinator in post. During the time there was a part-time Activities Coordinator from a sister care home who visited regularly for activities with residents, as well as planning activities and entertainment for when she was not on site.<br><br>The role of Activities Coordinator is an important one and we need to be careful that the right person is chosen. Passion, enthusiasm and an innovative approach to providing meaningful activities, entertainment and events for our residents are a prerequisite. <br><br>We are delighted to say that as of 15th February 2016 we appointed a full time Activities Coordinator, who is working alongside the residents and relatives to continue, as well as develop, the activities programme in Rose Lodge.
