We agree that having that direct communication with care staff is hugely important, and whilst all of our Registered Nurses and myself have a company email address, it is not currently possible to extend this to named carers. We have therefore been looking to provide a 'generic' email address for incoming non-clinical messages (e.g. letcombemapleinfo@.....) as a means of increasing our responsiveness and ease of communications. We will continue to explore the options for direct messaging between care staff and relatives on straightforward practical issues, as we appreciate that for many family members email is the preferred means.
