Thank you for your comments. We welcome all feedback that will help improve our care services.

We have recently made some changes to our catering service to enhance our resident dining experience and have introduced a new “Autumn/Winter menu” offering a choice of appetising and nutritionally balanced meals. The Cedars Nursing Home team seeks regular feedback from residents about the choice of meals served and this helps us to plan our menus, ensuring that all meals offered are appropriate for each resident. If there is anything specific your relative would like to be included perhaps this could be discussed the next time you visit our home, or perhaps you could join us for a meal of your choice to enjoy with your relative.

At The Cedars Nursing Home, there are always activities planned with something in mind for everyone, to keep everyone engaged in, just the way they’d like. Our Wishing Well scheme is really centred around understanding our residents, finding out about their life history and getting to know the things they would really like to do, so that our caring team can help to make their wishes a reality – there have been some amazing success stories across Brighterkind and the team are keen to get going with this in addition to the home’s daily activities programme. Your cousin’s birthday is approaching, in October and we have already planned a party for her and friends to enjoy, which we know she is eagerly anticipating.

If there is anything you would like to discuss further, please do not hesitate to contact customercare@brighterkind.com or pop into the home to speak to me anytime, my door is always open. Many thanks, Maxine Spincer, Home Manager.
