Thank you for your kind comments made.  I would like to respond to some of the areas you have spoken about.  Further to a recent Resident's Forum, your mother did comment about table flowers and we have noted this and are looking at purchasing table decorations/flowers.<br><br>We apologise that you did not find the food inspiring.  I would like to reassure you by confirming we have a new menu starting this week.  In response to the varied menu we always offer at lunch a choice of 3 main courses and a choice of 2 main courses at tea time, in addition, we have an optional menu available with a further three choices, one of which is always vegetarian.  The Chef would always offer something else should a resident not like anything on the menu.  If a resident has a specific dish they wish to see on the menu we always take this into consideration and add to our choices.   All main courses have been chosen by residents during our quarterly forum meetings.  <br>We take on board your comments about medication and can confirm that on Friday 4th November 2016 the Manager carried out a competency and observed staff administering medication.  The staff member had made a note to return to the resident to check that the medication had been taken, which the Manager observed had been carried out.
