Thank you for your honest review of our service. We were unaware of these issues as you had not reported them to me, however, after our recent discussion we found that your safety concerns came about from your belief that other residents had entered your mother's room when she was at lunch. To ensure absolute peace of mind, we would lock your mother's room when she was not there.

In regards to rooms being "poor", you felt this was due to your mother not liking the colour of the wallpaper, which we agreed we will change during the next refurbishment (where she will be able to choose her own wallpaper).

Finally, in response to value for money, you felt that the charge for the room is excessive for the size. We have agreed to look to relocate your mother when a larger room becomes available. We are sorry that your views of Hargrave House are tainted in this way and we hope that what we have agreed to will help raise your opinions of our service.
