Please accept our sincere apologies as there looks to have been a miscommunication when our original response was posted. That particular weekend there was four staff rostered in but unfortunately, one member had called in sick, this information was not passed onto Management and therefore no cover was able to be arranged. You are correct that a member of staff had to leave to take a resident to the hospital and left only two members of Staff on shift. This issue has been addressed, policies have been reviewed and staffing levels increased, so to ensure there are always five members of staff on shift at all times.
