I believe that, when he stayed with us, your father preferred to have a hot meal at lunch and often opted for a lighter option such as sandwiches for dinner, although hot meals are also available in the evenings. There are always food and refreshments on hand, and we ask all residents later on in the evening if they would like anything else before retiring, such as tea and biscuits, which I know your father also enjoyed.<br>Of course, if your father stays with us again we would be more than happy to speak with him and you regarding the food and make sure that we have plenty of options available that he’d enjoy – our chef will always be happy to adapt menus and foods to make sure all residents have dishes they like.<br><br>In regards to having other residents around with which he would be able to converse with, we have also made a note of this and mentioned to social services that he may prefer a room on a suite that caters for more residential care for any future respite stays.
