Since July 2017 a new home manager has been in post who has been working with staff in order to promote the visibility of staff within the home, along with promoting communication between staff, residents and relatives with the relaunch of a monthly newsletter to inform them of changes taking place within the home.

The lounge and dining areas are scheduled to undergo full refresh works in the coming months in order to promote the resident’s experience and general wellbeing.

The garden area at the front of the home has had a number of flower pots and hanging baskets in place since early summer along with two seating areas that have new garden furniture. The seating area at the back of the home is fully accessible to residents, however, once the refresh works in the home are completed there are plans to extend this seating area and create an area with wheelchair accessible flower beds that will enable all residents to participate in gardening if they so wish.
We are also continually reviewing our mealtime experience and therefore encourage residents and visitors to the home to inform us of any issues with regards to food at the time so that we might be able to rectify this in a more timely manner.
