Thank you for your positive comments about Cairdean House, in particular, your excellent score for care and support. With regards to the manager meeting residents, we would like to reassure you that our home manager spends a lot of time with residents. She tries to vary her time throughout the home so that she is out early morning, at meals and evening times and as such, she may not always see relatives when they visit. However, her door is always open and welcomes you to pop in, say hello and have a chat if you wish. We are sorry to hear that the food offering does not meet with your expectations. Our menus are rotated every 3 weeks and changed four times a year at the start of a new season. At every mealtime, we offer two choices as well as a variety of omelettes, jacket potatoes and baguettes. If there is something particular your relative fancies to eat, then our chef will certainly try his best to serve it. We take great care in planning our menus. Our chef is currently working on our second winter menu and we will be holding tasting sessions with residents so that they can help us decide the final menus.
