The nurse call system has recently been upgraded and following your comments received we instigated a maintenance review with the contractors who were commissioned to fit the new nurse call system. A programming error was identified which has now been rectified. This means that the call system now operates independently on either floor and the calls are no longer backed up in the system. We would like to apologise for any delay in receiving care on the occasion mentioned in your review.
