We take great pride in ensuring we deliver high-quality care and facilities to make a difference to our residents and their families' lives. Our activities team work very closely with our residents to ensure that trips are arranged to suit their preferences. Unfortunately on some occasions, when residents are poorly, trips will be re-arranged at the last minute. If there has been a change in the weather, issues on the M6 or local road congestion, trips may also be rearranged.
Due to the number of trips arranged throughout the week, we rely on a local taxi service for transport to the GP Health Centre on Friday mornings, rather than use NHS transport. We very much welcome your comments and are very sorry to hear about the delays encountered. This will be passed on to our resident’s social club sub-committee for further investigation.
The housekeeping team have been made aware of your comments regarding the visitors' toilets. The team do conduct regular checks, I would like to reiterate that it is indeed a very unusual occurrence, and I am very pleased to hear that our team cleaned the area quickly once informed. May I reassure you and all visitors that since the incident was reported, we increased the number of checks made on our various visitors' facilities.
