With regards to new team members, we have recently had a team member retire after many years of continuous service and have focused on finding the right person who we know will be fantastic in our home. It’s testament to the team at Maryfield West that our people stay for so long and part of what makes the home feel homely and welcoming. The new additions to our team are completing their inductions so we can ensure they deliver our high standard of care. <br><br>At Maryfield West we are a small and charming care home nestled in the prestigious west end of Aberdeen. The building was originally built over a 100 years ago and is constructed of granite with an additional more modern extension. The building is full of the original features including a lovely stained glass entrance and other features including high ceilings and intricate cornicing all giving a very light and spacious feel. We have a lovely open plan lounge and dining area which we use for communal gatherings as well as activities and for residents spending time having a blether.
