Sadly it appeared Woodlands was not for your mum. Staff and residents tried hard to make her feel welcome and to join in activities as planned but she refused.
Room was reallocated and mum seemed happier with this. I myself spent time with mum aware difficulty in settling in and time given to express concerns each time.
Food is prepared daily and from fresh ingredients and amended to meet special diet requirements. Meals have never been served at 16.00 and at a resident meeting, a documented request for 17.00 which has been in place since 12th November. Staff have always ensured that the comfort of Woodlands residents come first. Evidenced by the many positive comments received.
