Thank you for your constructive feedback. Due to the nature of the building wifi has been a historical issue for us. We do however have a portable wifi hub which works across the building that residents can make use of on request, free of charge. We are in the process of recabling the entire building in order to install our own 'leased line' for guaranteed high speed broadband and improved phone services for all rooms and residents, which we hope will be installed later in the year. More immediately, we are revamping our library to include a PC with large screen for Skype calls and internet browsing.

With regard to activities, I am not sure if you are aware, we have recently added an additional Activity Coordinator to our team and do have lots of community initiatives in place. Please do check our Facebook page for more photos and information https://www.facebook.com/amesburyabbeygroup/. Local nursery children and children from local schools visited several times at Christmas and we have a regular reciprocal programme of visits starting in March. Friday Film Club show a mixture of old and new titles on resident request, more recent releases include; The Greatest Showman, The Lady In The Van & Victoria and Abdul.

Other recent activities of note include; themed dining- most memorably our Burns Night and black tie masked ball suppers, the Vintage and Cultural exhibitions in the drawing room created through staff, family and resident contributions, a visit to see the Lion Dancers bring in Chinese New Year, residents families giving various musical performances, a Ukele Band, visiting exotic animals, a barn dance with visiting farm animals, our infamous Dog Show, history lectures, a performance by a chamber music group, Rat Pack singer, dedicated one to ones, where residents choose what they would like to do and regular yoga sessions.
