Thank you for your review. We note your comments with regards to music in the home. We play a variety of music within the home to reflect the different musical tastes of our residents and this is monitored by the senior team within the home. We offer many opportunities to connect with classical music in the home through visiting performers and externally through trips to the Wiltshire Music Centre which we have done three times so far this year. This is offered to all residents and we try and facilitate as many of those who wish to go to attend, hiring extra transport where needed. We also have been running this year “music appreciation”  sessions where residents have an opportunity to listen to their favourite classical pieces either on a 1-1 basis or in a group. Lastly, we have created the “music room” on Poppy where residents are free to go either independently, with their families or carers to listen to any music they wish or even use some of the instruments in the room. Please ask to speak to a member of the Leisure and Wellness team who will be able to feed back to you about your loved ones' specific interaction with our musical activities.
