As the new General Manager for the home, I have discussed this with the staff and put in some extra measures to ensure our cleaning and disinfection procedures are adhered to so such an event does not happen again. I understand you had requested a ground floor room, and unfortunately the only room available was yet to be refurbished, and any further works were put on hold for that time. However, I can assure you the carpet is now in the process of being changed. I hope this response has offered some reassurance but I am also more than happy to meet with you at a time that is convenient to further discuss.
