I am really sad to read your review. Lowgate Nursing Home was built many years ago and you are quite right, that it would be wonderful if every room was en-suite, with more power points and storage. The team at Lowgate pride themselves on their care and I am relieved to see that care and dignity has been scored well. <br>Our mattresses are routinely checked and serviced, my understanding was that your Mum didn't find our mattress comfortable and so it was agreed that she could bring her own in. Your Mum was complimentary about the food she ate whilst she was here, I will look into the delivery of food to see if we can improve in any way. The boxes that are in the toilets are ant traps - we do not have rodents. I really hope that your Mum has settled well into her new home and we wish you all the best in the future.
