Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you felt the care given to your father was unsatisfactory on his short respite stay with us. A full investigation into the circumstances was carried out and this has been fed back to the CQC and social services.  The incident was found not to meet the threshold for safeguarding. Many changes were made to the home upon Dad's arrival to try and make sure that he was safe at all times due to being an absconsion risk. I can assure you that I spoke to you as soon as I arrived at the home that morning and there were no mixed messages from myself. The time that Dad stayed with us was a pleasant one of which we have many photographs and videos of him participating and enjoying himself.
