Thank you for your review, we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. Having reviewed your concerns, we have liaised with our head chef who conducts a weekly dining audit. He is also present at flash meetings and is kept up to date with any changes in residents’ needs. All residents, including yourself, are encouraged to notify a staff member of any improvements to the menu you feel could be made; we are happy to pass these on to the kitchen team. We aim not to use agency staff; we appreciate this is not ideal however, at times this may be unavoidable in order to ensure safe staffing levels in the home. We have very recently recruited more staff to the home which should reduce the need for emergency agency staffing. Please do contact me if you would like to discuss any of these issues further.
