Whilst acknowledging the home Required Improvement at the last CQC inspection it should be noted that the home implemented a detailed action plan under a newly appointed manager, with all actions noted in the report being addressed. Many of the issues identified were in relation to the environment and staff practice around CoVid 19, all of which have been addressed, with further refurbishment work undertaken, albeit with a small amount due to be completed as lockdown restrictions are lifted.<br>The home is fully staffed and has had no shortages to its daily staffing roster, in addition, bank staff are employed to cover holiday and absence, and the home enjoys the benefit of a fully recruited team of nurses, which has been expanded of late. During the clients stay no concerns or complaints were raised by the family in relation to the care offered, a letter of thanks and a gift for staff was left by the author when their relative sadly passed away.
