As you will be aware from previous communications, the concerns that you refer to (raised in June 2020) were forwarded to the relevant regulatory bodies by the home manager. In conjunction with Social Services and the Care Quality Commission, they were investigated and managed appropriately and brought to a close.
I’m sorry that you feel Lavender Lodge has not been worked with your family to resolve issues that you have raised. We have worked collaboratively with the relevant regulatory bodies to ensure satisfactory outcomes.
We are aware that you were unhappy with the recent relocation of residents within the home. We spoke to each family, individually, to explain why this was necessary and as a result, we are able to continue to offer safe, effective and resident centred care during the pandemic with minimal reliance on agency staff. We respect your wish to seek alternative accommodation and are working with Social Services to facilitate this.
