However, we were unable to risk assess or foresee a natural disaster as happened in this case when a storm brought down a tree onto our telephone and internet lines. We did issue several apologies and notices across our social media and network sites to tell everyone what had happened. Our Hartford Care senior managers became involved in trying to get communications restored over the Christmas period, and Burnham Lodge’s staff took personal steps to use their own mobile phones to keep emergency lines of communication open. We are really grateful to our maintenance team for resolving the situation as swiftly as possible.
