It is always challenging to persuade anyone living with Dementia, to do what is necessary to help them remain independent. Until a cure for this dreadful disease is found we all have to do our best to keep our loved ones safe. Dementia is a progressive condition. The speed of deterioration differs between individuals. Age, general health, and the underlying disease affect the progression. For some people, the decline can be sudden, rapid and unexpected.
