Thank you for taking the time to submit your review of Ivy Grove following your respite stay with us – we were particularly happy to see your excellent scores for the team and care at the home. Our care home is very much that – an individual’s home – and we always respect everyone’s wishes. I understand that you asked not to be disturbed at all (outside of usual checks and mealtimes) in your room, which we completely understood, so team members respected this and waited for you to request any cleaning of the space or your clothing, rather than enter your room which you’d asked us not to do – when you asked for cleaning or any assistance, this was, of course, actioned straight away. We also noted that there was one issue with a light sensor (the light not switching off in the bathroom when not in use) – the electrician in the home was not able to rectify this on the same day but this job was completed soon after.
