Dear Angela, I am sorry that we did not meet your expectations entirely here at Uplands for your Mum. I am glad we just spoke on the phone to discuss this and to give us the opportunity to change and improve our services. I was glad to note that you were entirely satisfied with the care and support your mum received from the staff and thought that the home was kept to a high standard with its cleanliness. We offer an activity program but it is entirely the patients' choice whether to participate. We will review kitchen preparations and have available if needed, blackout blinds in future.
