Thank you for your review.<br>It is unfortunate that people's perception of care can be quite different between family members. Often the discharge from the Hospital may only be discussed with one of several family members and families are often not aware of the purpose of the admission for a Discharge to Assess bed. When people are admitted for short term care to our dementia unit they go through a period of assessment during which time safety is maintained as is the safety of other residents. <br>The Home continues to follow government guidelines for safe visiting which no longer requires lateral flow testing but does require all visitors to consider if they are safe to visit. We also ensure we have sufficient staff available for the resident's needs and we ask visitors not to leave the room of the person they are visiting. The visits are pre-booked to ensure we manage the total number of people in the home at any time and these can be booked during normal office hours.
