View Full Details of Pine Trees Care CentreMy mother has dementia and Pine Trees is the second care home we found. She visited agreed to move there even though she never wanted to be in a care home. It feels homely, the staff are all amazing, they have got to know mum and really work out how to help her have the best quality of life possible. The whole place is always clean. The food is fresh and cooked at Pine Trees. The most important thing is the staff, you wont find better people.
Even though my mum has not been there for a great length of time she has settled in very well and seems very happy there. I cannot fault the friendlyness and compassion of the staff. It always looks spotlessly clean and very safe for the patients.
I first visited in July looking for a place for Mum, from entering the home there was a calm feeling and residents looked relaxed. A member of staff was interacting with residents. The home is clean, you wouldn't know it was a care home. Since Mum has moved in, the staff are very welcoming and care for Mum well.
A very dear friend of mine is a resident at Pine Trees. She is celebrating her 98th birthday this weekend and looks fantastic! Always upbeat, smiling and full of praise for the fantastic staff looking after her. Every time I visit the staff go beyond to make me feel welcome and are lovely. We all know the care service needs a cash boost, pay rises, less hours of work. I hope the staff here get all they deserve and more. Thank you for being kind and caring.
As a PA to various clients, I have been to quite a few care homes, but my experience of Pine Trees was that I felt comfortable. The residents were calm and content, some smiles were uncommon at other homes. The staff are so friendly; they listen to the family as well as the residents. The room is clean and comfortable. The food always looks great. I'm yet to eat there! Hint, hint!
From the moment my daughter and I went to view the home after visiting a number of other homes, it was apparent that Pine Trees was the perfect home for my wife who suffers vascular dementia. It is very well maintained, the staff are very pleasant at all times and the manager is running a happy home for staff and residents. Although my wife has only been there just over a month, she is happy there and that is the most important thing for me. It was very difficult to get my wife to go outside our house and I thought it would be impossible to make that journey. The manager and a member of staff came out to help her successfully move in for which I am most grateful. Top marks for Pine Trees in every respect.
I was very impressed with the Pine Trees Care home and staff, who were very friendly and welcoming, which all helped my mother to settle in, and she is happy in her new surroundings. Facilities/parking for visitors is good too.
I have found all staff very friendly and approachable and always have time to answer any queries, my mum has a lovely room and was able to have pictures/furniture from her own home and has her own toilet which other homes did not have and the room is clean. The carers regularly come in to see how my mum is and encourage Mum to join in the activities.
Dad has been made very welcome by the staff. He finds it all a bit confusing, but they have taken the time to explain things to him. My father-in-law was at Pine Trees a few years ago and was very happy there. Since then it has been decorated and updated, giving it a bright homely feel.
My sister was a resident at another care home, we have been trying to relocate her for a while, then I contacted Pine Trees, had a meeting with the manager and was lucky enough to get a room for her. We had a private ambulance to transport her to Pine Trees she has a great room, we were able to put some of her things in the room pictures etc. She is very happy to be closer to her family and friends, she enjoys the food and the staff are very friendly and kind.
My personal experience whilst visiting Pine Trees is a very positive one. The overall general ambience is one of the friendly professionals going about their roles in a very helpful, professional but relaxed way. Creating from the manager down and happy environment for the residents and visitors alike. If you have any questions or queries the staff are always obliging and helpful.
So impressed with the friendliness and quality of care at Pine Trees. My relative moved there from another home that she could not settle in. The staff’s patience and kindness helped her to settle, and it is now truly her home. Would recommend it to anyone who needs to know their relative is looked after with patience and kindness. The food is good, the activities there if you want them, and the admin team is super efficient. Keep up the good work!
The staff at Pine Trees are very open and approachable and demonstrate their patience, kindness and care for the residents every day. The level of experience and professionalism is very reassuring when a family member needs residential care and is having to adjust to a new environment and the loss of their independence and former home. My mother took time to adjust, but really appreciates the care she receives. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the food is very good. Thank you, Pine Trees.
I have found both staff and management very approachable. Can always voice any concerns without judgement. I always feel comfortable when visiting Mum. I can visit anytime without question. Overall, I have found Pine Trees a very pleasant home.
A lovely care home, always clean, tidy, and warm. Mum is well cared for and likes all the staff. Mum enjoys doing the activities in the dayroom, especially bingo and loves getting pampered by having her nails painted.
I have chosen February 23, but it would also cover January 23. I cannot fault the care for my mother. She was in a very difficult place physically, and the care she had and still has kept her comfortable is just brilliant. Keeping her comfortable sounds like quite a small task, but it’s not; it encompasses so much. She has dementia, but she always happily greets the carers, so I know she feels safe and happy. They are respectful of what she wants but also encouraging for what she needs. I was delighted to find her sat up and chatting yesterday, and looking forward to her day.
I have always found the staff excellent. Caring and understanding. They have given my mum a lot more than just care but time and fondness. Even though they are understaffed they try to full fill all of her needs.
My friend for whom I have Power of Attorney is a difficult lady and can have behavioural problems when upset. She has now been in Pinetrees for over three years and is content and settled. Her physical and mental well-being is better than it has been for over a decade.
Mum moved to Pine Trees on 28th May. The staff were very welcoming (despite the fact that we were early! Mum had not had any lunch, so immediately was offered a choice of sandwich (freshly made) and a drink. I have dropped in twice since then and every time have found Mum well (although confused because of her dementia) She has settled in very well, and is looking better than when she was at home.
Since arriving at Pine Trees Care Home my mother has had the best care she and we could have wished for. The staff and management are very friendly, extremely helpful, and above all give my mother all the attention she needs. The food is excellent and the chefs are always asking my mother what she would like to eat every day. My mother is diabetic and wheat intolerant and everyone in the home are aware of these needs and can’t do enough for her. The home is very clean and tidy and my mother's room is fantastic with its own bathroom and walk-in shower facilities. I would highly recommend Pine Trees to anyone.
