Glebe House Care Home is a privately owned residence nestled in the beautiful and tranquil surroundings of East Ayrshire. We provide personalised Nursing and Residential care for up to 46 residents, offering a warm, supportive environment where comfort, dignity, and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. Now, we are looking for trainee Care Assistants — people who might never have worked in care before but feel drawn to it. Whether you’re returning to work, changing careers, or looking for purpose in your next role, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

What We Offer:

  • £12.70 per hour
  • Contracted or flexible hours – up to 44 hours per week
  • Paid PVG, uniform and onsite parking
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on full-time contract)
  • Full training provided – no prior experience needed
  • Two-week shadowing and induction with a dedicated buddy
  • Daily support from team leaders and clinical staff

Your Role:

You’ll work alongside experienced carers, learning how to support residents with personal care, mobility, mealtimes and companionship. You’ll build confidence through shadowing, regular catch-ups, and ongoing guidance. It’s not just about tasks – it’s about building relationships, bringing comfort, and being there for someone when it matters most.
