As part of our continued growth, we’re proud to introduce Oaklea Dementia Care Unit within Ashlea Court Care Home a purpose-built, 26-bed unit providing high-quality, compassionate dementia care in a supportive, homely setting.

What We Offer:
- £14.50 per hour
- Contracted to 44 hours per week

What You’ll Do:
Lead with Compassion: Deliver person-centred care to
residents living with dementia, treating each individual with
kindness, empathy, and respect
Set the Standard: Ensure care practices are safe, effective, and in line with current dementia care best practices
Inspire and Motivate: Supervise, mentor, and guide a team of care assistants, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture
Care Planning: Review and support personalised care plans tailored to each resident’s history, preferences, and cognitive needs
Medication Management: Safely administer and manage medications in accordance with policy and clinical guidance
Monitor and Respond: Be vigilant to changes in residents' wellbeing, responding promptly and appropriately
Foster Communication: Maintain strong communication with families, residents, and your wider team to ensure clarity and collaboration
What We’re Looking For:
- Caring Nature – A warm, compassionate individual who puts residents at the heart of everything they do
- Experience – Previous experience supporting older people, especially those living with dementia
- Leadership Skills – Confident in leading a care team, with a passion for building others up and creating a positive working environment
- Qualifications – SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is essential
