Valerian Court is a newly-built care home in Didcot, Oxfordshire, providing exceptional Nursing, Residential, Dementia, and Respite care for up to 70 residents. Located in a welcoming, friendly environment, the home ensures every resident receives compassionate, person-centred support to live well, with dignity and purpose.

We are looking for experienced Bank Care Assistants to join our flexible, supportive team. This is an ideal role for skilled care professionals seeking flexible hours while delivering high-quality care to our residents.

Your Role
As a Bank Care Assistant at Valerian Court, you will provide essential support to our residents, assisting with daily routines, personal care, mobility, and social engagement. You will work flexibly across shifts to ensure consistent, high-quality care, promoting independence, safety, and wellbeing.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Care Assistant in a care home or healthcare setting
  • A warm, friendly, and professional approach
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliability, initiative, and a person-centred mindset
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred
