We provide Residential, Nursing, Respite, and Dementia care for up to 55 residents, creating a warm and welcoming environment where residents feel truly at home.
We are now looking for a skilled Cook to join our kitchen team and play a key part in delivering delicious, nutritious meals that bring comfort and enjoyment to our residents every day.
What We Offer

What You Will Do
As Cook, you will prepare and
cook high-quality hot and cold meals, taking into account residents’
dietary needs and preferences. You will work closely with the Head
Chef on menu planning, ensuring meals are nutritious, balanced, and
varied. You will take responsibility for day-to-day kitchen
management, including stock rotation, ordering supplies, and
maintaining food safety records, while ensuring the kitchen and dining
areas remain clean and hygienic at all times.
Your role will be about more than just food preparation — you’ll help create a welcoming dining experience that contributes to residents’ wellbeing and enjoyment of daily life.
What We’re Looking For
- Culinary qualification (City & Guilds 706 1 & 2 or equivalent – achieved or working towards)
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (essential)
- Experience preparing meals for different dietary needs
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and step up when the Head Chef is not available
- Previous experience in a care environment is an advantage but not essential
