With state-of-the-art accommodation for 60 residents, we will provide personalised Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite care within a nurturing, multigenerational environment designed for complete wellbeing.
We are now looking for a dedicated Second Chef to join our culinary team. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your skills to a brand-new home and help create nutritious, well-balanced meals that residents look forward to every day.
What We Offer

What You Will Do
As Second Chef, you will
support the Head Chef in the planning and preparation of meals that
meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences. You will help manage
stock rotation, record keeping, and safe food handling, while ensuring
the kitchen remains clean, safe, and well-organised. You will also
take charge of the kitchen when required, helping to deliver a smooth
and efficient service.
What We’re Looking For
- City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or equivalent qualification (achieved or working towards)
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed
- Previous experience in a care or catering environment is helpful but not essential
