We are currently looking for a kind, reliable, and enthusiastic Care Assistant to join our day shift team and make a meaningful difference every single day.
What We Offer
- £12.70 per hour
- 35 hours per week (3 shifts one week, 4 the next)
- 8.00 am – 8.00 pm day shifts
- Paid PVG, pension scheme, free uniform, and onsite parking
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on full-time)

Your Role
As a Day Care Assistant at Ashlea Court, you will play a vital
role in supporting our residents with daily routines, personal care,
meals, and activities. You will build positive relationships and help
create a warm, relaxed, and safe environment where every resident
feels valued and respected.
Whether you are new to care or bring previous experience, you will be supported from day one with a full induction, shadowing, and development tailored to your goals.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum Level 2 SVQ in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards this)
- A genuine passion for caring for others
- A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and a strong sense of teamwork
- Empathy, patience, and respect in everything you do
