Clinical Unit Manager Nursing - Bothwell Castle Care Home Contract:Full TimeSalary:£21.84 Per HourShift Type:DaysContracted hours:40Located in the picturesque and historic area of South Lanarkshire, Bothwell Castle Care Home is a private, luxury facility offering Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite care for up to 75 residents.
We are now seeking a Clinical Unit Manager to lead our 29-bed dementia care unit. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and motivated Nurse to take on a leadership role, driving high standards of care and making a meaningful difference every day.
What We Offer
- £21.84 per hour
- Contracted to 40 hours per week
- 3 long days (08:00–20:00) on the floor + 1 supernumerary day (09:00–17:00)
- Weekend working required

Your Role
As Clinical Unit Manager, you will be
the driving force behind our dementia unit, ensuring residents receive
exceptional, person-centred care. You will lead by example, supporting
residents with complex needs and guiding your team to consistently
deliver safe, high-quality care. Your responsibilities will include
overseeing clinical governance, mentoring and motivating staff,
conducting regular audits, and working closely with families and
professionals to ensure the very best outcomes for residents.
What We’re Looking For
- Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN
- Strong clinical skills and confidence in delivering high-quality care
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory nursing role
- Passion for dementia care and a commitment to upholding dignity and respect
- Ability to mentor, support, and motivate staff to perform at their best
