Oaklea Dementia Care Unit, a newly refurbished 26-bed specialist unit within Ashlea Court Care Home, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our skilled and supportive daytime team. Part of Willinbrook Healthcare, the specialist division of Care Concern Group, Oaklea provides high-quality, person-centred care in a calm, structured and homely environment.
What We Offer
- £20.50–£21.50 per hour (depending on experience)
- £1,000 welcome bonus (T&Cs apply)
- Annual NMC fees paid
- Up to 44 hours per week
- Primarily days, with flexibility to support night shifts as required.

Your Role
As a Registered Nurse on dayshift, you will play a vital role in
ensuring the highest standards of care and clinical practice are
consistently delivered. You will take the lead in coordinating care,
administering medications safely, and ensuring each resident receives
personalised, compassionate support throughout the day. You will
monitor residents’ physical and emotional well-being, communicate
effectively with families and healthcare professionals, and promote
meaningful engagement and independence. Your presence will ensure that
every day runs smoothly and that residents feel safe, valued and supported.
About You
You are a qualified RGN or RMN with an active NMC PIN. Previous
experience in a care home or dementia care environment is
advantageous, but above all, you are motivated by compassion and the
desire to provide exceptional care. You have strong leadership and
communication skills, work well under pressure, and are confident in
managing a small clinical team with professionalism, empathy and dedication.
