We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Senior Care Assistant to lead our dedicated care team, ensuring our residents receive outstanding care while fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere.

What You Will Do
As a Senior Care Assistant, you
will lead your team to ensure seamless shift operations while
maintaining a caring and uplifting environment. Your role involves
supporting residents with daily tasks such as dressing, bathing,
toileting, and mobility, always prioritizing their dignity and
independence. You will manage medication administration and
documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and maintain detailed
care plans and risk assessments that reflect residents’ needs and
preferences. By engaging with residents, their families, and
healthcare professionals, you will communicate with clarity and
compassion, building meaningful relationships. You will welcome
visitors, showcase our home’s facilities, and respond promptly to
emergencies, assessing situations and providing or arranging
assistance as needed. Through active participation in staff meetings
and training, you will continue to grow professionally, adhering to
health and safety policies and fostering a collaborative, inclusive
team spirit.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (essential), with Level 3 preferred or actively working towards it
- Practical Medication Administration training with competencies
- Strong leadership skills to motivate and develop a team
- A compassionate, caring personality with a commitment to person-centred care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
