Chef Catering and Hospitality - Oakbank Care Home Contract:Full TimeSalary:£14.04 Per HourShift Type:DaysContracted hours:30Oakbank Care Home, located in the beautiful town of Crieff, is a brand-new, purpose-built home offering luxurious accommodation for up to 70 residents. We provide personalised Residential, Dementia, Nursing, Palliative and Respite Care in a welcoming and supportive environment.
We are now looking for a skilled and passionate Chef to join our catering team, where you will play a vital role in ensuring residents enjoy nutritious, well-balanced and high-quality meals every day.
What We Offer
- £14.04 per hour
- 30 hours per week (8AM-6PM)

Your Role
As Chef, you will prepare and serve delicious, well-presented
meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
You will assist with menu planning, stock control and ordering, and
maintain a clean, safe and efficient kitchen. Your creativity and
attention to detail will help make mealtimes something our residents
look forward to each day. You will also take responsibility for
kitchen management in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring high
standards of hygiene, safety and food quality are always maintained.
What We’re Looking For
- Catering qualifications.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (or equivalent)
- Experience in menu planning, food preparation and stock management
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
- Good communication skills and a flexible, proactive approach
- Experience working in a care environment is beneficial but not essential
