Bowles Lodge care home closes despite legal challenge

A High Court ruling has decided that Kent County Council can close Bowles Lodge care home, in Hawkhurst, allowing the council to find an alternative nursing accommodation for 90-year-old Vera Waylor who had brought the legal challenge to the closure decision from her hospital bed.
