Gracewell Healthcare continues to expand with acquisition of Shelbourne Senior Living care village

has acquired Shelbourne Senior Living care village in Sway, Hampshire.

The 68-bed care home and 14 assisted living cottages is the latest addition to this rapidly growing group.

Gracewell healthcare director Tim Street believes the Sway home is a natural fit for the group.

He said: “We are delighted to announce that Shelbourne of Sway will now be part of the Gracewell family of care homes.

“This is a fantastic facility, set in beautiful countryside, offering the highest level of care to its residents. Gracewell will continue to deliver highly personalised care to ensure this is a home where people can continue to create happy memories with their families.”

Shelbourne of Sway is split into three accommodation areas: support cottages, assisted living and nostalgia neighbourhood (dementia care).

The home is situated in the heart of the New Forest in Sway, Hampshire.

Gracewell Healthcare currently runs eight care homes. A further 10 care homes, are currently in development across the South East, South West and Midlands.
