Chris Bracewell, Senior Architect at DWA Architects, attends conference at the University of Leeds, as an expert speaker.
The conference, called - Cities, Energy and Climate Change Mitigation, was the third annual conference of Asia Europe Energy Policy Research Network (AEEPRN). The aim of the event was to bring together scholars, city government officials from UK/Europe and Asia, and other relevant practitioners for mutual exchange of policy-practical knowledge and ideas on the challenges facing energy policies in addressing climate change mitigation.
Chris was invited to talk about BREEAM - one of the world’s leading environmental benchmarks for ‘green’ projects. As an experienced BREEAM assessor, he was able to talk about BREEAM schemes, their objectives and the implementation methodology within the UK and Internationally.
Licensed by the Building Research Establishment (BRE), as DWA Architects practice BREEAM assessor, Chris works with clients and colleagues during the design process to ensure that the environmental impact of the design meets the BREEAM targets and certification is achieved.
