Four Seasons Health Care ran two workshops at the Alzheimer’s show at Olympia on June 5th and 6th. This show, run in association with the Alzheimer’s Society, is the UK’s only dedicated exhibition and conference for those affected by dementia.

Joanne Agnelli and Jessie McGreevy from the dementia services team delivered guest presentations at the show and helped to man the stand, where an old fashioned sweet trolley proved hugely popular. The event, attended by over 1,000 people, showcased best practice in dementia care. Notably the attendance was made up, not only by healthcare professionals, but also by people living with dementia and their care partners.

Joanne Agnelli, Dementia Services Quality Manager, Northern Ireland, Wales and Isle of Man said: “Excellence in dementia care is at the forefront of what we do within the organisation of Four Seasons Health Care. That being said, we have a social responsibility to share our knowledge to enhance the expertise and subsequent experience of others who live with dementia outside of our care settings. The opportunity to speak at the Alzheimer’s Show was an opportunity to disseminate the innovative work that is constantly evolving in dementia care”.
