Congrats to Croxley House Chef for reaching finals of NAPA Challenge

Last Updated: 09 Sep 2015 @ 00:00 AM

Croxley House's Chef, Nick Broad decided to enter the Annual Challenge run by NAPA (National Activity Provider Association) and this year they decided to run a Fine Dining Event. Of the six elements that were offered Nick decided to enter The Chef's Masterpiece Challenge.

The key part of the challenge was to develop a really special menu and to consider the full front of house experience, based on the likes and dislikes of those attending. NAPA was looking for evidence of consulting with the residents along with the more technical elements of the meal. Nick developed the undernoted menu that he recently presented to residents at a special dining event evening. Residents were really impressed with the selection on offer and his expertise on the night. Nick got through the judging round and is a finalist, he is now waiting to hear if he has won. He is among 20 Chef's that have been shortlisted and whether he wins or not he will be invited to an exclusive Chef's Masterclass run by Unilever as a way to thank participants and to help develop their skills for the future.
