Over ten years ago now, Kingsway Private Nursing Home in Dunmurry was the first nursing home to engage with a top chef (Paul Rankin) to provide a whole new standard of food for the residents.

And this attention to detail and comfort is still par for the course (pardon the pun) – both at Kingsway and all their other care homes in Northern Ireland.

“It’s all part of the service” says Nuala Green, Director based at Kingsway. “We treat residents as paying guests and we aspire to provide the kind of environment and services you would expect to receive in a good hotel."

It means that residents at Kingsway can enjoy a little glass of wine with their well-balanced lunch if they wish, or enjoy a soothing nightcap after their evening dinner.

However, it goes without saying that the favourite tipple of most people in Kingsway is not a glass of white or red, but a cup of good old tea. Cheers!
