Gosmore embraced the 50s and 60s for their Open Day

Gosmore Care Home in Hitchin opened its door to the local community and welcomed them in as part of their open day.

Christina Hartles, Home Manager, said: “Everyone had a lovely day. The sun was shining, entertainer William Smith was wowing us with his singing talent transporting everyone back to the 50s and 60s, not to mention the various stalls and activities there were for people to do.

“New visitors to the home also took the chance to speak to the residents and the care team to get a feel for the place. It was nice listening to the residents swap stories with everyone. It’s safe to say our open day was a success.”
