At Church Farm Residential Home in Hemsby, staff and residents donned their pyjamas for the day as part of a fundraising effort for Comic Relief.
Visitors and families gave generously to the many who had swapped their uniforms and everyday clothes for comfy nightwear thereby ensuring funds were raised for the worthwhile cause.
Stella, a resident at Church Farm shared her thoughts on the day and said: "It was great fun seeing so many people getting involved in the fundraising efforts. I don’t really watch much TV but seeing Comic Relief come to life like this was brilliant!"
Joining fundraisers from across the UK, the activities held throughout the day included a variety of crafts and fun-filled games with the highlight of the day being the ‘pyjama award ceremony’.
Anne Morley, Church Farm manager, added: "It has been wonderful to have so many people getting involved raising money for these very deserving causes.
"Our sincere thanks to everyone involved for their support and generosity. It is our aim to provide residents with a happy, fulfilling and engaging stay with us; as such we always have something going on!
"We continue to conduct research on these sorts of community projects. An upcoming initiative includes the ‘Punching Pensioners’ programme, a boxing scheme designed to encourage and improve our residents’ mental and physical wellbeing. We would welcome members of the community to join us for future such events."
