Best wishes to Meadow House’s Belinda

The residents and care team at Meadow House Nursing Home in Swaffham, Norfolk, have said an emotional farewell to their much-loved friend and colleague, Belinda Jones.

Belinda has been activities coordinator at the home for several years; responsible for managing and overseeing various residents’ events, the social and activities program and resident’s many outings, among other duties.

The staff and residents joined Belinda for an afternoon of fun with music, mocktails – as well as a lot of cling-film, flour, spray string and paint; a leaving tradition at the home!

During the farewell celebrations, Belinda was presented with flowers, presents and cards, along with many friendly words of warm wishes.

Joanna Jankowska, manager of Meadow House commented “It was an emotional day at Meadow House as everyone said a very fond farewell to Belinda. She has been a very popular member of the team and will be missed by so many.

"However, we all wish her well and every success on her forthcoming journey. Thank you for everything you have done.”
