We are so lucky to have so many interesting places to visit within easy access of our home. This week we visited The Museum of English Rural life which is owned and managed by the University of Reading. The museum houses a surprising collection which explores how the skills and experiences of farmers and craftspeople, past and present, can help shape our lives now and in the future. Our residents loved looking around and reminiscing about the objects they remember. Freddie, got chatting to on one the curators regarding the wooden bowls displayed.... he remembered having two of them on the farm he used to own!
