RESIDENTS AT LOCAL CARE HOME ENJOY A MAGICAL PERFORMANCE

Residents and guests at Lindum House care home in Beverley enjoyed a magical afternoon, with a live magic performance that took place at the home. Local magician, Ray Burrell performed a delight of magic tricks.

Residents joined in with the magical phrases, such as ‘Lindum House is magic, abracadabra and Ray even had us clucking like chickens!’’. Ray roped our admin assistant, Katie Ross, into assisting him with a few magic tricks and Ray also made the staff and each resident, wonderful balloon models after the performance. The hospitality team at the home also provided a spread of sweet and savoury treats for guests to enjoy during the show.

General Manager, Jayne Clarke said, “Our residents and guests had a truly magical afternoon watching and engaging with Ray the magician. We do our best to provide a wide range of activities and entertainment at Lindum House as part of the lifestyle enrichment programme for residents, and this was one of our favourites!”

One resident said “I really enjoyed the performance; he was very good with his hands and humorous too!”
